How we verify

Every fact on ImmigroX comes from an official source, keeps its dates and is checked before it is published.

  1. 1 · Official sources onlyGovernment sites, and programme sites a government links to. Never third-party sites.
  2. 2 · Saved with its dateEach source page is captured and kept with the date it was retrieved, separately from what we publish.
  3. 3 · Facts checked, explanations reviewedRoutine figures, such as invitation rounds, are published only when they pass the configured checks against the saved source. Explanations are reviewed by a person, and approval covers one exact version.

What the dates on an update mean

Each date keeps its own meaning. A date the source does not establish is shown as not established, never filled in by assumption.

Event date
When the round, draw or announced change happened, as the source states it.
Effective date
When the change applies, only if the source establishes it.
Source page last updated
The date shown on the official page itself.
Last verified
When the record was last checked against its official source.

If an official page changes or we find a mistake, the published update is corrected or withdrawn. Correction notices are listed on the Corrections page.

Verification is a method, not a guarantee of accuracy or a decision about your case. Read published updates →
